A quiet reflection on vulnerability and missed moments, where the unspoken becomes the true focus. The writing feels honest and relatable, and the acting carries the emotional weight in a very real way. It’s simple, but it stays with you.

A young man stands alone in an undefined room. Through poetic and fragmented reflections, he reveals his inner struggle: how he wrote in a secret diary, how he observed this person who lived life freely, without the worries he himself carried. The monologue culminates in a brutal but subtle visual revelation.

Arnar Bjorøy brings an emotional authenticity to the role of the young man in "Det høyeste ropet." Where the text demands vulnerability, he delivers it without reservation.

Ord fra regi

The film stands as a deliberate counterpoint to contemporary media's obsession with "hooks" and shrinking attention spans. Instead of demanding attention within seconds, the film asks for something that has become increasingly rare: patience, presence, and it challenges the audience to simply listen, to notice the subtle shifts in voice and body language, to hear what lies between the words.
