Petter Grindahl is a filmmaker who writes and directs emotionally driven stories with a strong visual identity. His work often explores inner conflict, grief, spirituality and the psychological layers beneath human behaviour — blending atmospheric storytelling with grounded, human performances.
He made his feature film debut with the self-financed drama UNTIED (2024), which premiered to a sold-out theatrical event and later toured cinemas across Norway before its digital release. The project marked a four-year creative journey, giving him hands-on experience across development, production, post-production and independent distribution.
Petter works across fiction, commercials and branded content, bringing a cinematic sensibility to both narrative and commercial projects. He is known for his close collaboration with actors, his focus on emotional authenticity, and his ability to create visually striking scenes on limited resources.
AUR is now a team of three as we steadily starts to build with people that are joining in on Aur’s vision to create character-driven films that refuse to look away from the messy truth of being human and building Oslo’s most inclusive & creative filmmaker community to help others do the same.
